Who We Are

Choose your finishes where you can touch them

In the heart of the South Bay, KiLAND Design Center brings a full kitchen & bath design gallery to a San Jose address — cabinetry, flooring, and hardware displayed side by side, so you can compare finishes in person and select everything for your project in a visit.

  • Custom & semi-custom American cabinet systems
  • Modern European / German kitchen cabinets
  • High-end hardwood & luxury vinyl flooring
  • Viking appliances & finishing hardware

The showroom

Cabinetry, flooring and hardware, side by side.

The decisions that set a kitchen are made against each other, and they’re hard to make from swatches on a screen. Ours sit side by side in San Jose — pull a door off the rack, set it down on the plank, and hold the handle you’d open it by.

FAQs

Questions before you visit?

Everything homeowners and trade pros usually ask before their first appointment.

Both work. You're welcome to browse the showroom on your own during business hours. If you'd like a designer to walk the floor with you and talk through your project, booking an appointment means someone is reserved for you when you arrive.

Full cabinet displays in framed, frameless, and inset construction, door samples across our painted and stained finish range, hardwood and luxury vinyl flooring samples, and cabinet hardware you can hold and test. Everything is set up so you can compare options side by side rather than from a catalog.

Both. You can order products and have your own contractor install them, or hire us for the complete project — design, supply, and installation by our licensed team. We adapt to whichever level of support you need.

Yes. KiLAND is a full-service licensed general contractor, CA License #1038355. That license stands behind every product we supply and every project we build.

It depends entirely on scope, cabinet line, materials, and the condition of your existing space — which is why we don't quote from a phone call. Bring your measurements or inspiration photos and we'll walk you through realistic ranges for what you're describing, then prepare a detailed quote at no charge.

Yes. We work with trade professionals regularly, from product-only orders with expert specification support to full-service project delivery.

Before anything is ordered, our team visits your home to confirm every dimension and condition — existing surfaces and structures, plumbing locations, electrical positioning, subflooring, and wall condition for secure cabinet mounting. It is how we make sure what you designed actually fits when it arrives.

Timelines vary by scope and by cabinet lead times, which differ from line to line. We give you a realistic schedule during design — before you commit — rather than an optimistic one that slips.

Our lines include MasterBrand, UltraCraft, DeWils, Medallion, Norcraft, and more, plus flooring from Shaw and DuChateau among others. Because ranges change, the most reliable way to see current options is to come in and look at them in person.

We asked them to quote on a hardwood floor installation. Although I am reasonably experienced with home projects, this was outside of my comfort zone. To make sure, we asked them to come to the house, measure the area correctly and make sure there is a plan for the project. The estimate was about 10k and we accepted. Well, they forgot to charge for the glue - add $850. Oh, the preexisting tiles are sitting in 2" of mortar. That happens sometimes, they said. They could have looked at the subfloor easily to see that, but they did not ... add $4k for additional demo work and new raised subfloor. And the flooring of the house is not even so we have to put transitions in; I was able to persuade them to raise the new subfloor and level things off after a bunch of discussions on how this was too much work, but it required a lengthy discussion. Well, next was that they miscalculated the area ... need to add more hardwood floor material and installation charge ... add $1.7k. And when it came to installing the last transitions to the adjacent rooms, I was told that the material they ordered would not work and they did not have time to get other items and finish it (they said I should finish it myself). Along they way they nicked into my walls many times and left a bunch of black marks. Yes, they offered to repaint, but I kind of lost confidence and considered what may go wrong when their floor installer who does not have time to do his main job would start painting my walls. The small discount they offered me did not make things right. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience ...
